The rules for using LeafDot, written to be read. Where a registry's rules are stricter, theirs apply.
01Who we are
LeafDot ("we", "us") provides domain name registration, renewal, transfer and management services ("Names"), and application deployment ("Deploy"), through leafdot.com and the LeafDot customer dashboard. By creating an account or placing an order you agree to these terms.
02Your account
You must give accurate contact details and keep them current. Registries require accurate registrant information, and a domain can be suspended by its registry if the details are false or unreachable.
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
03Domain registration
A domain is registered for the term you pay for, in the name of the registrant you provide. Registration is only complete once the registry confirms it; until then, availability shown on our site is an indication, not a guarantee.
Each extension is governed by its registry's policies (and, for generic extensions, ICANN's). Those policies form part of these terms. Country-code extensions such as .com.bd may require supporting documents and registry approval.
04Pricing and payment
Prices are listed in Bangladeshi taka (BDT) and shown for registration, renewal and transfer. VAT is added where applicable. Registry price changes may affect future renewal prices; we will show the current price before you renew.
Payments are processed by SSLCommerz or by bank transfer. An order is not processed until payment is confirmed.
05Renewals and expiry
If auto-renew is on, we will attempt renewal before expiry using an invoice sent to your account email. If a domain is not renewed it will expire, stop resolving, and may later be released by the registry. Redemption after the grace period may carry an additional registry fee.
06Transfers
You may transfer a domain away at any time, subject to registry rules — including the 60-day lock after registration or a previous transfer. Transfer codes are available from your dashboard.
07Deploy
Deploy plans are billed monthly in advance and renew until cancelled. You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
Each plan has usage limits (such as bandwidth, build minutes and function execution) listed on our pricing page. We will warn you before you reach them. Sustained use far beyond a plan's limits, or use that degrades the platform for others, may require an upgrade or be rate-limited.
The Hobby plan is for personal, non-commercial projects. You are responsible for the code and content you deploy, for keeping your own copies of your source code, and for the security of any credentials you store as environment variables.
08Acceptable use
You may not use a domain registered through us, or a project hosted with us, for phishing, malware distribution, spam, fraud, child sexual abuse material, infringement of others' rights, or any unlawful activity. We may suspend or lock a domain, or take down a deployment, on credible evidence of abuse, or when required by a registry, court or lawful authority.
09Disputes over names
Disputes about the right to a domain name are handled under the applicable registry policy (for generic extensions, the UDRP). We will comply with the outcome of those proceedings.
10Liability
We provide the service with reasonable care but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability of third-party registries, DNS networks, Git providers or the Deploy infrastructure. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the affected service in the previous twelve months.
11Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will post the new version on this page with a new date. These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
